Install AI Firewall

The public CLI quickstart supports a supported macOS or Linux environment. Confirm system requirements first if you plan to use the full local model.

Install with one command

curl -fsSL https://aif.harden.run/install.sh | sh

Open a new shell after the installer finishes. You should then be able to run aif.

What happens next

The installer is the only step that installs the client. Continue to the quickstart to configure a detected agent, run the safe demo, and open the local decision history.

If installation does not finish

Run the read-only health checks below after opening a new shell:

aif status
aif doctor

If the output does not explain the repair, see troubleshooting or book a support call.
