Quickstart after installation

Complete these steps only after the AIF client is installed and available in a new shell. This page deliberately does not repeat the installation command.

Configure your detected agent

aif configure

Expected result: AIF lists the configured integration and confirms the local protection service is reachable.

Run the safe demo

aif demo

Expected result: AIF records safe allow and block decisions using demo data. The demo does not inspect your repository.

Open the local history

aif show

Expected result: the local viewer opens on 127.0.0.1:47391.

Verify the state at any time

aif status

Use the command-output reference if you need to interpret the result, and continue with agent setup for an explicit agent selection and validation command.
