Read AIF command output

The examples below are illustrative. Use aif <command> --help for the exact fields in your installed release.

aif configure

$ aif configure

✓ Local protection service: running
Next: run aif demo

• configured — the selected agent connection was created.
• running — the local protection service is reachable.
• Next — the recommended command to verify setup.

aif doctor

$ aif doctor
✓ CLI: available
✓ Local model: ready
! Cursor: validation needed
Bundle: aif doctor --bundle

• ✓ — the listed component passed its health check.
• ! — follow the reported remediation before retrying.
• Bundle — creates a privacy-filtered support attachment when needed.

aif status

$ aif status
Protection service: running
Local model: ready
Activity history: available

Use status to separate a local service issue from an agent configuration issue. If it does not explain the repair, follow the troubleshooting guide.
